How to Maximize the Results of Each Page on your Website

Now is the time to work on your business (instead of in it!) in order to free up valuable time. Time better spent on actually growing your revenue, hiring more employees, getting new trucks and building systems. Freeing up time allows you to focus on the areas that require your attention as a business owner.

Your marketing requires constant change and adjustment according to what’s happening in the world at any given time. If you are happy with where you are and don’t want to grow, stick with what you are doing. If on the other hand you seek to thrive it is time to make the changes that may make you feel uncomfortable.

Forced Upgrades and Changes

Technology is advancing at such a rapid rate that your website is only valid for two years max. You really can’t do much but upgrade it regularly, otherwise you lose rankings (Google sets the rules!). To make matters worse, at some point the technology or software you are using may just stop working. This is the ideal opportunity to recreate your website and business every two years. Each upgrade will allow you to fix what hasn’t been working and to do so much more of what has.

Marketing for Success

Video marketing has taken the world by a storm, especially during COVID. Graphics, technology and software has developed to such an extent that you can easily carry all you need in a backpack ready to get down to business at any given time. This is something that has added a new dimension to your marketing strategy.

Get Your Ducks in a Row

Before your website is even built, servers have to be set up and SSL certificates acquired. These SSL certificates provide you with a secure site that is less likely to be infected with viruses. Customers are more likely to stay on a website that is secure rather on one that is not. Setting up your domain is an important step before beginning your digital marketing journey. G-Suite allows you to keep everything under one umbrella which is easy to locate 24/7.

Ensure that any performance related data is acquired from Google. This data is what you will use in order to make the necessary changes to your website or marketing strategy. Use the raw data that comes from Google and not an interpretation by a specific person. This data is what you will use to identify actionable areas that will improve your positioning online.

Branding

How the public views you is extremely important. Make a decision of what you want to portray to the public, your future clients, and commit to that entirely. This is your chance to stand out from the rest of the companies in the same industry. This is where you can beat the competition. Part of who you are, your values needs to come through in your branding. If you don’t commit to creating a brand the only thing to differentiate you from the others in your field is the price factor.

Website – Your Store

Your website is your store. It is made up of a variety of pages. These pages relate to the services that you offer in the areas that you offer them. These are basically your product pages.

Fix the Bugs

Before you even contemplate starting your marketing strategy it is important to fix all the self-destructive bugs that are influencing your business. Information that may be incorrectly listed online, and old outdated content have the ability to destroy your online reputation and affect your business going forward.

Know your customers and create your content and services that provide convenience. Who your target market is will influence the tools you offer, the promotions and the content that you place on your pages.

Be aware of where you are heading and work towards this.
